Hi, I’m Alyson. Fiber and materials have been a longtime love! One of my greatest joys is getting the right tools into the hands of creatives! That started while raising my kids - our house was full of yarn, markers, felt, pastels, you name it. So when my daughter Abby launched her needlepoint business Abigail Cecile, I began hand dying velvet to coordinate with her designs. As I experimented, learned through yards of trial and error, I continued supplying Abigail Cecile with what would become its most popular product, our Signature Velvet. I continue to dye in my converted dairy barn studio on our farm in Northern Michigan along with sourcing other truly beautiful and fine fabrics to meet the needs of needlepointers, finishers, cross stitchers, and anyone looking for a lovely piece of material.
